FE Peacock to work on fourteen apartments for new client

29 July 2010

FE Peacock is working with new client The Abbey Group Cambridgeshire Ltd to fit out fourteen high specification apartments.

The contract covers 11 two-bedroom and 3 one-bedroom apartments at Abbey Gardens, 42 Huntingdon Street, St Neots which will be designed and fitted by FE Peacock and then be available for rent through developer The Abbey Group. Work is now underway and is due to be completed in January 2011.

The new apartments at Abbey Gardens will provide a luxury specification for those looking to rent in the local area.

Karl Hick, FE Peacock managing director, commented: "FE Peacock has a strong reputation based on years of experience of constructing high quality energy-efficient homes. This fit-out work that the company will undertake on behalf of The Abbey Group on existing properties shows the company's versatility when it comes to providing quality properties for local people.

"It also shows our ability to work with a private sector client as much of our work is usually with housing associations and other registered providers of social housing."

Carl Sutton, director at The Abbey Group, said: "The Abbey Group is pleased to be working with FE Peacock for the first time on this project. The company has a good reputation for providing high quality homes in the area and I very much look forward to seeing the finished apartments with the quality fittings in place."
