Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) 

• Above average typing speed is essential.

• Assisting current administrators with daily tasks.

• General Office administrative duties such as screening calls

• Dealing with all aspects of administration that are necessary to operate a successful property development company.

• Ad-hoc project-work, Filing, Scanning, Faxing, Photocopying, Answering Phones, ordering stationary and supplies.

Cleaner

Cleaner required for new home development. Job will include various cleaning requirements including Site Office and communal area and final ‘Sparkle Clean’ of all new properties required.

Subcontract Payment Administrator

This position is for a Subcontract Payment Administrator, you will need to have at least 2 years experience within a finance accounting environment and experience within all aspects of accounting. The role will be based within the team of Quantity Surveyors to provide support to ensure timely payment and record keeping of subcontract applications.

Job requirements:

  • Matching, Batching, Coding invoices, Payment runs and Statement reconciliations.
  • Providing timely and accurate support to internal/external customers.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced payment ledger clerk, proven at processing high volumes in a fast paced environment.
  • Good IT skills and a knowledge of COINS accounting system will be an added benefit.
  • You will be a self-starter with a dynamic, energetic approach to the role.
  • You will also be able to work effectively as an individual as well as part of a large team and strong communication skills are also a key factor.
  • Maintain a filing system for all financial documents.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word.
  • Ensuring a high degree of accuracy in record keeping and filing of invoices.
  • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
  • To represent the interests of their company internally and externally.
  • Other Ad-hoc support duties, for the Quantity Surveyors as required.

Land Buyer

We are looking to recruit a Land Buyer. 

You will support the Land Managers in the identification and acquisition of sites, assisting in project acquisition from identification, offer, contract, purchase, planning to pre-start on the sites acquired.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

  • Sourcing new opportunities, both on and off-market.
  • Networking with agents and landowners.
  • Carrying out market research and identifying land opportunities.
  • Produce professional land packs, ensure accurate bids are placed for land.
  • The role will require effective communication with external bodies such as Local Authorities, Land Agents, Architects and Planning Consultants.

You must have

  • Previous land buying experience, and will have good communication skills. 
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative to set deadlines within tight programmes and to budget.
  • Confidence and numeracy with proven negotiation skills are essential for this role.
  • A degree in a relevant property related subject is highly desirable.
  • Discretion and confidentiality essential.

  • You may be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • Research the marketplace and be aware of competitors.

  • Ensuring progression of secured sales reservations to completion.
  • Effectively manage and resolve any customer complaints.
  • Work under pressure with minimal supervision.

  • Well presented and well spoken.
  • Personable and engaging.
  • Previous new homes experience would be preferable.
  • Knowledge of the Help to Buy Scheme and other relevant schemes and a proven experience of off-plan sales would be a distinct advantage.
