Affordable Housing

Within Larkfleet we are committed to providing quality affordable homes through our Larkfleet Homes and F E Peacock divisions to help tackle the growing problems experienced by first time buyers and other people in housing need in finding a new home. Our approach to affordable housing is similar to the philosophy we adopt towards all our developments – to create quality living spaces which benefit from carefully planned outdoor areas to provide a real sense of community. Larkfleet has recently been awarded Investment Partner Status with the Housing Corporation which allows us to contribute to the National Affordable Housing Programme over the next 3 years. This partnership status is recognition of our long term commitment to the affordable housing sector and was awarded due to our technical ability in this sector, our financial capacity and the company’s good standing.

Our team continues to work closely with local authorities and our housing associations partners to ensure that more affordable homes are being built to enable first time buyers, key workers and others in housing need to have the opportunity of moving into their own home. These homes are made available in several different tenures including shared ownership properties, discounted market value houses as well as intermediate and social rented units.

We are currently working on various schemes with strategic affordable housing partners to bring affordable housing to local communities under the section 106 agreement of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

Eastern Shires HA - 21 key worker apartments
29 homes in Great Gonerby, nr Grantham
15 homes at Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth
42 homes at Southview Road Peterborough
